Healthy, robust hearing is about music. It’s about laughter. It’s about stories. It’s about conversation. It’s about friends, and family, and relationships. It’s about your ability to think, remember, and understand. It is, in short, about the very things that make life worth living. And that, more than anything, is why treating hearing loss early and effectively really matters. You no longer have to suffer alone and in silence from hearing loss.
Americans spend a fortune on hearing aids every year – yet 25 percent of hearing aid users abandon them within 6 months because they are uncomfortable or don’t help.
This is what Dr. Mark J. Syms, an Arizona physician specializing in hearing disorders, dives into in his new book, Listen Up! A Physician’s Guide to Effectively Treating Your Hearing Loss.
Hear all about why medicare doesn't cover hearing aids, why it is so important to treat hearing loss, and how to motivate the loved ones in your life to seek the treatment they need.
