Although the importance of mindfulness has received increased attention, when it’s time for people to relax, unwind, and have fun, most often people see that as a time to “turn off the brain” and forget about mindfulness.

Lena is a surf therapist who helps her clients learn how to create positive change, stay mindful, and be present... all while doing something most would consider play.
Lena discusses why mindful play matters, how being mindful while you play doesn’t mean you're not having fun, and how bringing mindfulness into play can help you enjoy the moment and be fully present.
