- Guest Bio: Wesley Delbridge, RDN, is the food and nutrition supervisor for the Chandler Unified School District Food and Nutrition Department, where he oversees a team of more than 300 employees who focus on promoting school nutrition, creating and serving healthy food and decreasing childhood obesity, serving more than 45,000 students. He also is a professor of food science at local colleges and universities in Arizona. Delbridge designed and created the first school nutrition smartphone app, “CUSD Food,” and is committed to changing the perception of school meals through new and innovative communication tools and a focus on customer service. Delbridge was awarded the 2013 Health Education Media Maker award; was president of the School Nutrition Association of Arizona and worked on national legislative action committees for the School Nutrition Association. Delbridge graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State University, where he was named the Most Outstanding Senior.
