Maria Antoinette Fiatarone Singh, AM, MD, FGSA, FRACP

CI Fiatarone Singh is an academic and clinical geriatrician, who is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine in both the USA and Australia. She spent 10 years at Harvard and Tufts Universities after a Geriatric Fellowship at UCLA and has held the inaugural John Sutton Chair of Exercise and Sport Science, and Professorship, at Sydney Medical School since 1999. She is the director of The Centre for Strong Medicine and the founder and director of the Fit for Your Life Foundation. She is a member of the Medical Advisory Board of Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting, the Advisory Committee of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, the Executive Committee on Frailty of the Agency for Clinical Innovation (ACI) NSW, as well as the Aged Care, Virtual Exercise, Resistance Training, and Medication Management Groups in ACI, collaborating with consumers and practitioners to develop aged care programs. She serves as Editor for Frontiers in Public Health, Exercise Science and Exercise Medicine (ESEM), and several Geriatrics Journals.
