Avoid Decision Fatigue & Stay Healthy this Holiday Season

Are you suffering from decision fatigue? Learn how to overcome and have your healthiest holiday yet.
The holidays are upon us and with all of the late nights, festivities and extra food and libations, it becomes easy for you to forgo healthy habits.

In this segment of Naturally Savvy, wellness coach, Jennifer Mielke from the Eleven Eleven Wellness Center, joins Andrea and Lisa to provide an overview on staying well through the unhealthy holiday temptations, aside from simply exercising. She discusses such helpful tips as detoxing, taking probiotics and most importantly, getting proper sleep.

Also, Jennifer advises avoiding decision fatigue. Think about it... if you wait to make a healthy decision until right before you need to make it, it's much harder and even overwhelming. For instance, if you need to decide not to eat a piece of cheesecake, isn't it much easier to decide before the meal than after? Or, if you make a point to say, "I'm not going to stay out after 9:00 p.m. on weekdays," and you stick to that, imagine how much better you'll feel throughout the week.

It's something you may never really think about, but it makes so much sense and is very simple to embrace.
