Wearing shower shoes and wiping down the equipment before and after use are just a couple ways to help keep the gym as hygienic as possible.
There are also some things you may not have thought of, such as using metal water bottles (they're easier to keep clean), and cleaning your ear buds regularly. Both can make a big difference.
