Fitness success helps. Find a form of fitness you enjoy. As you see your body change, you might alter how you eat to support that success.

You also have to face reality. The images you see on billboards and in magazines are airbrushed. Accept your body the way it is, because it will never be perfect to you.

Plan your meals for a busy schedule. Bagged vegetables, grilled chicken slices, and frozen vegetables can be combined for a quick dinner. Prepared deli soups are handy for lunch.

Mary PrenonMary T. Prenon grew up in suburban Philadelphia. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts in journalism from Temple University in Philadelphia, she began her career as a broadcast reporter, radio show host and news anchor in suburban New York City. Radio stations included WHUD, WFAS and WXPS in New York, WSTC in Stamford, CT and WEVD in New York City. During her radio career, she received two Associated Press Broadcast Awards.

Later, she then transferred to print reporting for various business and real estate publications. Over the course of her life, Prenon has written nearly a thousand newspaper and magazine articles. She later became an account manager for a New York public relations firm. Her clients included the Ritz Carlton, Westchester; the Thayer Hotel at West Point; Grand Central Holiday Fair (Grand Central Terminal in NYC); Hudson Valley Tourism, Trump Tower, White Plains Hospital, and many others.

Currently, she works as the communications director for a Realtor association in the Hudson Valley, New York. I’m Lazy, and I Love to Eat is Prenon’s first book.
