Feeling & Looking Great in Your 50s: The Raw Food Secret

What if you could feel and look vivacious and healthy into your 50s and beyond, simply by making a lifestyle change?
At the age of 33, Supermodel Carol Alt began to notice certain things about her health and appearance. Her skin began to wrinkle, her hair was thinning and turning grey, she had trouble maintaining her weight and was moody and tired all the time.

Not to mention that she was continually coming down with colds, the flu and sinus infections.

Not exactly the vision of a model.

She wondered, "If this is what I feel like when I'm 33, what am I going to feel like when I'm 53?"

If you're in the same boat, you may be curious about that very same thing.

Fortunately, for Carol, she had a bit of a revelation when she was introduced to raw food.

Amazingly, she's never had a cold or the flu since. According to Carol (and the science that backs it up), when your immune system is strong, it's amazing what you can accomplish and how well you can feel.

And, once Carol began eating raw food, she realized she could eat what she wanted and still maintain her weight... and that she could eat til she was full.

How can eating raw food create such a drastic change?

Your body is built from raw proteins and raw fats, so you achieve optimal health when you rejuvenate your body with these same nutritional elements. By eating raw food, you're retaining the vitamins, minerals and digestive enzymes naturally withheld within that food. When you cook your food, you deplete these elements and your body cannot keep up with the essential nutrition you've lost just by living day to day.

Remember, though, just because a food is cold (i.e. milk, hummus), doesn't mean that it falls into the raw food category. Milk is pasteurized, which takes away its raw benefits, and hummus is processed and often filled with preservatives and artificial flavorings and colors.

What other health, fitness and beauty tips does Carol have to share?

Tune in as she joins Andrea to discuss all the benefits she's realized from switching to raw foods, as well as some easy tips to help you feel and look great well into your 50s and beyond.
