The Legalization of Cannabis: Separating Fact from Fiction

Crops are popping up everywhere and the legalization of recreational and medicinal marijuana is covered almost daily in the media.

You hear stories from both sides. For instance, those who support it declare the health benefits, such as how cannabis reduces suicide. Alternately, politically opposing parties are rushing to Obama to put a stop to other states jumping on the cannabis entrepreneurial band wagon... despite those fact-based health benefits.

On the official National Cannabis Industry website, www.thecannabisindustry.org, you'll find the following mission: "To promote the growth of a responsible and legitimate cannabis industry and work for a favorable social, economic and legal environment for that industry in the United States."

Join Taylor West, Deputy Director of the National Cannabis Industry Association, as she sheds light on what the Association does to support the legalization of cannabis and why a lot of what is being covered in the media may not be the true facts.
