Over the past 20 years more children are participating in organized and recreational athletics.
With so many young athletes playing sports, it's no wonder injuries are common.
Half of all sports medicine injuries in children and teens are from overuse.
Dr. Andrew Gregory, a fellow with both ACSM and American Academy of Pediatrics, joins Melanie Cole, MS to help you prevent overuse injuries in your younger athletes.
Prevent Overuse Injuries in Youth Sports: Cross Train!
Don't let your child fall into the same training rut day after day for their sport. Prevent overuse injuries by cross training your young athlete and give them the best chance at sucess.
