Sugar substitutes, like Splenda, may actually be making you gain weight.
You might think you're being weight-conscious and saving calories by using an artificial sweetener to sweeten your coffee.

But a new study may make you think twice before adding that sweetener, especially if it's sucralose.

A study published in the Journal of Diabetes Care found that sucralose, known to millions as Splenda, causes insulin spikes... which in turn can affect your weight.
