Ease Anxiety Through Nature

Spending time in nature takes you out of your anxious mind and reconnects you to your physical presence.

At some point in your life, you probably have had feelings of anxiety. It’s a normal feeling, but when your life is consumed with fear, nervousness, uneasiness and worry, it’s easy to lose your mind.

Have you ever thought about taking a walk outside to calm those feelings and thoughts?

Spending time in nature helps calm down your anxiety, as it takes you out of your anxious mind and reconnects you to your physical presence.

Through nature, you learn that you are not alone... even though anxious feelings make you think you are.

What if you live in an area where six months out of the year you experience cold, harsh weather? You might want to consider getting houseplants, as they can provide a similar effect.

What are some other benefits of nature for easing anxiety?

Anxiety tamer, forgiveness counselor and relationship coach, Jodi Aman, shares the benefits of being in nature and how nature can help heal your anxiety.
