Eating for Beauty
If you've decided to eat cleaner -- whether for overall health, weight loss, or your outside appearance/skin health -- it's difficult to go from zero to sixty. You will likely get burned out and abandon ship before you see any results.
Jane Wilkens Michael suggests taking baby steps to cleaner eating. One of the things she advises is going on a "junk hunt." Go through your pantry and cupboards and eliminate the foods that are bad for you, but do it slowly. You can't eat what you don't have.
She also suggests getting to know food labels and understand what the measurements mean. This includes beverages, which often hide sugar and calories.
